Serena Williams appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador

Tennis champion Serena Williams has been announced as UNICEF's new international Goodwill Ambassador.

She supports the charity's work to provide quality education for vulnerable children through the Schools For Africa programme, and the upcoming Schools For Asia initiatives. Williams follows in the footsteps of previous Ambassadors Mia Farrow, David Beckham and Orlando Bloom.
